The J-Curve concept and its application in your production company

Do you know the extraordinary J-Curve concept?

You can see it in the graphic here below.

This concept comes from the world of “investments”, in the financial field. However, it can be adapted to many other contexts and, of course, to your industry as well.

Exactly! The industry of Machine Tools.

Basically, according to this model, whenever we want to deal with significant changes, anywhere in our life, to move from point A to the improvement point B, there is always an initial phase of decline and worsening.

It is very normal and it is to be expected!

However, everyone thinks that the improvement process is linear and upward oriented, as the red line shows.

In real life this idea is PURE SCIENCE FICTION.
And those who have faced changes in their lives know it well.

The real trend, however, is represented by the blue line, so at the beginning, moving from the “starting point” or “comfort zone”, there is a temporary downfall phase.

It is not permanent, it is only temporary.

Our system needs to adapt to new methods, new codes, new habits.

For this reason, at first, there is a downfall phase, not because the new model is worse than the previous one, but just because we need a period of adjustment.

Then everything gets back to normal, and then the exponential improvement phase starts.

However, lots of people ARE AFRAID of facing this initial phase, so, as soon as they are exposed to the worsening phase and feel PAIN, they sadly go back.

I have said “sadly” because I believe that, on these issues, good culture could really make a huge difference for most companies.

IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE THIS
FIRST DIFFICULT PHASE “SOFTER”?

Yes, of course! This way is represented by the green line.

In fact, if a person acts in a strategic way, and not impulsively, following a METHOD, he can experience a much milder and more manageable initial reduction.

This means feeling LESS PAIN and getting far above average benefits in less time.

If the aim is to improve and I am in situation A, but I have to go to situation B, I cannot act impulsively.

I need a strategy.
I need a METHOD.

HOW TO ADAPT THE J-CURVE CONCEPT
TO YOUR INDUSTRY AND THE SECRET WEAPON
TO FACE THE CHANGE

In the world of machine tools and production companies, it is absolutely possible to manage change and improvement, weakening the initial phase of pain.

It is therefore possible to stay on the green line.

But this can be done just through a METHOD, combined with the right technology.

METHOD + PROPER MACHINE TOOL

I’m talking about the PORTA PRODUCTION METHOD, a Method that I personally created, on the basis of my 25 years of experience in the machine tool industry.

I know this sector like the back of my hand. I have helped lots of companies to face the change and now they are reaching positive, if not striking, results in their field.

THAT’S WHY I CAN GIVE YOU MY WORD AND GUARANTEE, BECAUSE I AM 100% SURE.

The green line, for you who use CNC machining centers, is represented by the PORTA PRODUCTION METHOD, that guarantees a researched and tested model that, step by step, will lead you to exceptional results.

So, starting from classic machining centers, if you really want to make a difference, you NEED A NEW TECHNOLOGY for your production department.

This new technology is represented by the PORTACENTER.

However, lots of people are frightened by this change and do not know how to behave. And here is where my METHOD comes into play, to help you face the technological improvement you need.

In the image below, you can see what you will get.

Obviously, the effort must be mutual, because, first of all, if you don’t want to IMPROVE, and therefore to CHANGE, this leap in quality will be so difficult.

For this reason, I decided to create a Team of Technical Tutors, people with years of experience behind them, who have personally used machine tools.

A team that will guide you and help you analyze your current situation and that, together with you, will study right solutions to achieve the so desired improvement.

If you are a user of CNC machine tools for metalworking and you want to have a clearer and more complete idea on how to apply the PORTA PRODUCTION METHOD in your company …
