You do not buy to have, but to be!

This weekend I deepened what Spencer Johnson says (1)

“PEOPLE DO NOT BUY FOR HAVING,

BUT TO BE “

Reading that this is a universal law and applies to ALL products, or rather, to all people, intrigued, I tried to apply it analyzing whether even my customers, being just people who buy, fall within this universal law.

AND HERE’S WHAT I DISCOVERED …

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to make fast production changes.

But to BE quick to change production!

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to lower the value of your warehouse …

But to be liquid in the bank, not having capital in stock.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to work complex parts in one clamping …

But to be more precise to work complex parts.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to reduce labor compared to a battery of machining centers.

But to BE competitive having only one operator in place than more operators. Or just one robot instead of more robots.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to reduce the occupied space …

But to BE more logistically efficient.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to have only 4 simple fixtures …

But to BE less expensive than the competition.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to consume less energy …

But to BE more competitive on the cost / piece.

Do not buy the MULTICENTER to work small / medium lots …

But to BE up to date with new market demands.

After reading carefully the concepts of Spencer Johnson I realized that I could continue with the list of examples of why people who buy the MULTICENTER do it to BE different, or rather to transform themselves from what they are NOT today, to what they would like to BE.

“PEOPLE DO NOT BUY FOR HAVING,

BUT TO BE “

THEREFORE IF YOU ALSO WANT:

– BEING Quick to change production.

– BE liquid in the bank.

– BE more precise in processing.

– BE more competitive with one operator.

– BE more logistically efficient.

– BE less expensive than the competition.

– BE more competitive cost / piece.

– BE up to date with new market demands.

…. then you have to deepen the method of FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION that makes sure that you can BE all the above described and turn into what you are NOT TODAY.

If you want to deepen this theme, you can send an email to maurizio@flexible-production.com and I will send you TOTALLY free the book “FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION” where you will find various articles that deal with the above topics and much more!

THEREFORE YOU WANT TO BE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU ARE TODAY, WRITE AND START TO READ THE BOOK THAT WILL GIVE YOU COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE!
